Mothers in Christ, Inc we are a very present help in the time of trouble.  We are located in Elkhart, In.

Psalms 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble”.

Founded by Queen Lovelady, she started the ministry as a answer to God’s call on her life to minister to single mothers with issues and strongholds that hinder them from raising their children to be respectable members of society.  Being a advocate for the youth, we believe life must start in the home if we are going to save our next generation.  Queen worked 3 jobs for 11 years because she was determined not to go on welfare, she knew it would be a cycle for her children.  After 40 years she has returned to school.  She is now a student at Ivytech.  Her major is Human Services, she is planning on getting her Associates and her Bachelors degree, she knows this will make her more effective in her community.   She also now is a Casa (Court appointed Advocate to a child) Representative.  Now she is that voice she always wanted to be for a child.  Not only was Queen commited to her children, but others as well.  She took in another son and was guardian to her niece for 5 years.  Her children always brought home troubled, mostly abused children knowing she would assist them in some way. 

This is one of the reasons why most people in the city know her as Mama Queen because she has and remains to be a mother to so many.
